GENERAL SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

2. Students must respect members of staff, and other visitors to the school.
3. No student must be absent from function except with permission.
4. No student should speak any other language but English except during the Nigeria/French language lesson
5. Fighting ,vandalism, noise making and other forms of anti-social behaviors are strictly forbidden
6. Student must be properly dressed in uniform that is clean and tidy at all time
7. Classroom and the school compound generally must be kept clean and tidy at all times
8. Student should not walk around during lesson periods
9. Student must maintain a high moral standard in and outside the college. All form of immoral behaviors or immoral association will attract maximum punishment.
10. No student may go outside the college during official hours without an exeat.
11. Damage to the college properties by any student will attract stiff penalty
12. Students are not to play game inside the classroom.
13. The college prefects, senior and class captains must be obeyed at all times but fagging is totally prohibited
14. Any student caught cheating during examination will be suspended or dismissedCO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Posted on | 2019-06-04As a way of further developing the students physically, mentally and socially, they are expected to participate in some of the activities of clubs and/or societies such as:
1. Literary and Debating Society,
2. Cultural and Dramatic society
3. Press Club
4. JETS Club
5. WAIC
6. Boys Scout
7. Girls Guide
A student may not belong to more than 2 clubs and societies. The school also provides good sporting facilities for indoor and outdoor games.STUDENTS’ ASSESSMENT
Posted on | 2019-06-04Students’ progress will be continuously assessed. The results from such assessments are cumulative. A student will be allowed to proceed to a new class at the end of the session based on his/her performance in the continuous Assessment and Examination at the end of each term. At each assessment, a student is expected to score at least 50% of the total marks to merit a pass. However, all the core subjects are supposed to be passed. Assessments will be made on a continuous basis not only in the cognitive (intellectual) area but also in Affective (attitudinal) and psychomotor (manipulative skills) aspects of learning. Projects, Assignments, practical work, short tests are considered to decide the final assessment for each term.
THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COLLEGE INCLUDES
Posted on | 2019-06-04In congnizance with the National policy on Education,the college was established with the following aims and objectives; 1.To provide qualitative education both moral and academic to boys and girls irrespective of their social,religious and ethnic background 2.To bring into harmony the development of the physical,mental,social and spiritual powers of our youths from different socio-economic background in an environment that is conducive to the acquisition of the knowledge and skills. 3.To equip the students with the knowledge to meet the various challenges of our time especially in science and Technology. 4.To operate a broad-based curriculum that will bring out the ingenuity of the students to cope with the various roles expected of them in their later life. 5.To inspire the students to be thinkers and inspire them with the principles of truth,obedience,honour integrity and purity which will make them a positive force for the stability and upliftment of our society. 6.To inspire the students to aim at the development of all their faculties so as to excel and be an intellectual model for our society. 7.To achieve good academic performance in their JSSCE and SSCE and easy transition to the tertiary institutions of their choice.
